This spot was such a buzz in 2024 so we’re expecting that to continue for 2025! We’re working with Sarah from Stepping Stones, who has yet again put together an amazing line-up of kids activities with a focus on nature and the outdoors, of course.
Who doesn’t love to sit down and paint a rock!
There will be things to do like giant jenga, connect 4, nature scavenger hunts, bubbles, nature clay play, make your own piwakawaka, creepy crawlies. And a massive festival piece of artwork to colour in over the three days!!!

CHILDARE
Separate to the Kids Zone, Sarah is running a childcare service so don’t let lack of childcare stop you from getting out on the trails!
Childcare is available for people who are participating in any of the five participation events within the Festival.
Our Child Carers will have activities for the children to participate in as well as having access to the Kids Activity Zone.
There are limited childcare spaces available and the cost is $17 an hour per child.
